Nestled in the heart of Aurora, Colorado, Twisters Burgers and Burritos is a vibrant culinary destination that expertly blends Latin American flavors with beloved American fast food classics. This bustling fast-food restaurant masterfully crafts a menu steeped in cultural richness and comfort, making it a must-visit for burrito lovers, breakfast aficionados, and burger enthusiasts alike.

From the moment you approach Twisters Burgers and Burritos at 1750 S Buckley Rd, the lively, welcoming atmosphere invites you to dive into a diverse array of bold, flavorful dishes. Whether you grab your meal from the speedy drive-thru or enjoy the friendly, relaxed service inside, the experience feels genuine and satisfying.

The menu itself is a treasure trove of Latin American delights and hearty American favorites, showcasing unique specialties that are anything but ordinary. Popular picks like the Indian Taco with Beef and Enchilada Rancheros honor traditional New Mexican cuisine, offering a richly spiced, comforting taste that warms every bite. The standout Twisters Burrito and Carne Adovada Burrito wrap tender meats and spicy green chilies in warm, fluffy tortillas, delivering an impeccable balance of smoky and savory flavors.

Breakfast is elevated here with hearty platters such as the Omelette with pan-fried potatoes and Huevo Rancheros, perfectly paired with slow-cooked pinto beans and your choice of red or green chile. Coffee lovers and early risers rave about the 8 Supreme Breakfast Burrito, a generous, flavor-packed start to the day that truly stands out in Aurora’s fast-casual scene.

For burger fans, Twisters offers bold, inventive creations like the Spicy Fish Sandwich, the fiery Scorpion Classic Chicken Sandwich, and the uniquely flavorful Green Chili Cheeseburger. These sandwiches embody the same fiery spirit as the burritos, with a satisfying crunch and a blend of spices that tease and tantalize the palate. Accompanied by crispy, curly fries, the meals are fulfilling and robust.

A sweet finish awaits with traditional Latin treats such as warm Sopapillas—light, fluffy pillows of fried dough that are perfect for dipping in honey—and delicate churros filled with strawberry or Bavarian cream. Whether ordering a small 3-piece portion or indulging in a large 12-piece batch, dessert at Twisters transports you to a sun-soaked plaza somewhere in the Southwest.

Customer experiences echo the genuine appeal of Twisters. Ricky Vinson’s excitement after his first visit, particularly for the “Three Meat Biggies,” illustrates the crave-worthy combination of three meats wrapped inside a handheld delight. Despite a minor spill of green chili—a testament to the freshness and bountiful fillings—the fast, friendly service and quality food shine through. Christopher Dye praises their breakfast burritos and Mexican specialties, emphasizing the unbeatable combos with classic Pepsi beverages that round out a satisfying meal.

Adventurous diners will appreciate the playful fusion and daring options—Bonifacio Vasquez’s mention of a blend between Mexican and Chinese influences and the infamous “Scorpion Hot Chicken burger” challenges taste buds with intensity and excitement, while Nya highlights the consistently stellar customer service alongside standout sandwiches, encouraging guests to dine inside for the full flavorful experience.

Every bite at Twisters Burgers and Burritos speaks to a passion for authentic, well-crafted, and diverse flavors that keep customers coming back. Whether you’re indulging in a robust breakfast platter, savoring a spicy sandwich, or sharing sweet sopapillas with friends, this local favorite makes each meal feel like a spirited culinary celebration.

My first time going today and I was pleasantly surprised!! Got a couple of the "Three Meat Biggies" handheld and I would absolutely recommend it! Only issue was a little green chili had come out into the wrapper but thats the risk you take getting chili inside. Service was fast and they seemed friendly. (went through the drive thru)

I love this place and would’ve given it 5 stars but the reason I didn’t is bc of the guy named Jesus that works there. Too often has he made mistakes and not cared. So if he’s there buy and beware. They have awesome breakfast burritos! Their taco platter and Indian taco are really good too and they have Pepsi and Mt Dew

Back again lol: 10/29/22 I got a scorpion chicken sandwich it was so good. 3/27/22 update: It was so good I went back the next day. Same order but I went inside. It was even better plus the customer service rocked. I tried a fish sandwich too yes at 9:30 in the morning. It was good the sauce was spicy but not overpowering. It was great. So I prefer going inside over the drive thru with this place but the food is consistent and delicious. Until next time. 3/26/22 The wait in the drive through wasn't great. I was thinking about backing out to be honest. I'm glad I waited because the smothered vegetarian breakfast burrito I got was so good. I got red chilli since the green chilli has pork in it. Jam packed with veggies, eggs and diced green chiles. Not enough cheese on it but next time I'll ask for more because that wasn't enough for me. I'll definitely be back and try a chicken quesadilla or smothered chicken burrito. Until next time.

4.5/5; Machaca is by far one of my favorite foods of all time and Twister's nearly hit the nail on the head with their machaca breakfast burrito. If some jalapeños were added and the burrito was thrown on the grill for a couple minutes then it would be 10/10 perfect (though I suppose these are just my personal preference—I crisped it up in my air fryer anyway so I can't complain). More on the food though, and while I definitely questioned paying $10 for a burrito, I was not disappointed at all with the size. For me, this will be two meals so $5/meal sounds pretty solid to me. The beef was very flavorful (and plentiful) and was not overwhelmed by the egg and other fillings so you do indeed feel like you've gotten your money's worth compared to many places skimping on meat these days. Service was also fantastic, especially compared to other "fast food" places that do pickup. My food was ready when I got there but it was most definitely fresh and the older woman working up front today, 7/22 around 10:30am deserves praise for her kindness and attentiveness. All that's left is for Twisters to add migas to the menu, but I'll be back regardless. I'm disappointed it took me 2.5 years of living just up the road to give it a shot.

Really great food ! The Indian taco was great just a little soggy in the middle. The chimichanga was a little softer than I prefer but I just threw it in the air fryer for a minute and it was perfect. I’m guessing the sogginess was due to it being delivered though. Definitely would love to try more of their menu!
